Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Service Writer to join our team in Houston, TX, 77066. As a Service Writer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and support. You will be the first point of contact for our clients, helping them navigate their service needs while providing a friendly and professional experience. Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assess their service needs in a courteous and professional manner.
• Document customer information and service requests accurately in our system.
• Communicate with technicians to relay customer concerns and service requirements.
• Provide customers with detailed estimates and timelines for service completion.
• Follow up with customers regarding their service status and any additional recommendations.
• Maintain a clean and organized service area to enhance the customer experience.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly.
• Assist in scheduling appointments and managing the service calendar.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in automotive technology is a plus.

Proven experience in customer service, preferably in an automotive or service environment.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Basic knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance is preferred.

Proficient in using computer systems and software for service management.

Positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the company.
