Digital Designer

Department : Marketing, Corporate

Employment Type : Full Time

Location : Gainesville, FL

Reporting To : Sr. Creative Director

Description

Provide Creative Services to support Exactech's sales, marketing and corporate communication goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides design support for all digital communications tools in accordance with and in support of corporate global brand standards.
  • Collaborates with Senior Digital Designer and Web Team in the implementation of storyboards and designs relating to all digital media, including but not limited to global websites, video editing, and digital employee communication vehicles.
  • Performs updates to existing digital communication vehicles.
  • Promotes and supports a team-based approach to the development and execution of digital media.
  • Know and apply the Quality System and any appropriate Federal International Standards.
  • Assists and support other employees, teams and sales personnel as necessary.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

Education :

  • Associate's Degree from an accredited institution required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.

    • Experience :

  • Minimum 3 years of graphic and web design experience

    • Functional / Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required :

  • Strong creative portfolio showing outstanding design capabilities and samples of finished (professionally produced) graphic / interactive / social media / web design work.
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite applications.
  • Knowledge of user interface design. Strong command of web standards and web graphic optimization techniques.
  • Exposure to and knowledge of HTML, JavaScript and CSS.
  • Experience with content management systems, specifically Wordpress.
  • Demonstrated organizational and project management skills to meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to respond to internal customer needs.
