Job Title : Engineering Assistant
Job Description
An Engineering Assistant is needed to support the engineering management team in various administrative tasks and project coordination activities. This role involves assisting with project documentation, scheduling meetings, and providing logistical support to ensure the smooth execution of projects. Candidates should have 5 to 10 years of experience and an accredited bachelor's degree, preferably in engineering.
Responsibilities
- Assist in creating, organizing, and maintaining project documentation, including engineering plans, schedules, budgets, and reports.
- Ensure all engineering-related documents are accurate, up-to-date, and readily accessible to team members.
- Facilitate communication among project team members, stakeholders, and contractors.
- Prepare and distribute engineering-related communications, such as meeting agendas, minutes, and status updates.
- Assist in scheduling meetings, site visits, and project-related events.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely completion of engineering project milestones.
- Assist in monitoring budgets and expenses.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and forecasts.
- Collect and analyze project data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Prepare summary reports and recommendations based on data analysis.
Essential Skills

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Birmingham, Alabama.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00 / hr.
