Overview

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION :

We are seeking a qualified project manager with a minimum of ten years of experience on large scale, type projects. At least 3 years of the experience should be at a large to mid-size airport. This role is responsible for project management and design oversight for a variety of architectural / building design and construction projects across the airport campus anticipated to exceed $1 billion in contract value over the next ten years. Major responsibilities of this position include management of consultants and contractors, design oversight, procurement support, construction monitoring and oversight, coordination of tenants, business partners and other RDU departments, as well as a range of other responsibilities needed to ensure the successful outcome of projects.

Responsibilities

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :

Analyze and interpret technical data, reports, specifications, and engineering and architectural plans for facilities at a commercial air carrier airport

• Prepare, evaluate, monitor, and maintain complex operating budgets and capital program budgets
• Plan, organize and direct work on complex projects involving building infrastructure and systems; ability to promote consensus and negotiate favorable outcomes
• Research current and future trends to establish programs for existing and new buildings
• Create and meet schedules and deadlines of the work
• Understand and carry out oral and written directions
• Accurately organize and maintain paper documents and electronic files
• Maintain the confidentiality of information and professional boundaries
