Hospital EVS Manager

We're looking for a Housekeeping Manager to lead our Environmental Services department and ensure our hospital maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and infection control.

This is a great opportunity for either a new professional ready to launch a career in healthcare operations or a seasoned professional with hands-on experience managing housekeeping teams in hospital or hospitality settings.

What You'll Be Doing :

  • Lead and manage a team of housekeeping staff across multiple hospital units
  • Ensure all areas meet strict cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards
  • Develop staff schedules, assign duties, and monitor performance
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
  • Train and mentor team members, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence
  • Collaborate with nursing, facilities, and infection control teams to address cleaning needs and priorities
  • Manage inventory and procurement of cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices
  • Assist in general cleaning duties.

Who We're Looking For :

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree (preferred in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field)
  • Strong leadership potential and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • 4+ years of experience as a housekeeping lead or supervisor in a hospital or hotel setting
  • Proven ability to manage teams and maintain high standards of cleanliness
  • Familiarity with healthcare sanitation protocols and regulatory compliance
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Bilingual (English / Spanish) a plus
  • Experience with scheduling, inventory and audits
  • Knowledge of OSHA, Joint Commission, and infection control standards
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Round Rock, Texas.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $33.65 / hr.
