An established precision manufacturing company located in the greater Indianapolis area is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join its growing team. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to work in a clean, well-equipped environment producing high-tolerance components for a specialized industry.

About the Role

In this hands-on role, you'll set up and operate CNC lathes or mills to produce complex parts to tight specifications. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, has a solid understanding of machining practices, and is comfortable with a variety of control systems.

What You'll Be Doing CNC Machinist :

Set up and run CNC machinery to manufacture high-precision parts
Read engineering drawings and use GD&T to ensure accurate production
Use inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and bore gages
Adjust machine offsets, perform tool changes, and make minor program edits
Monitor machining processes to maintain quality and consistency
Perform first article and in-process inspections
Contribute to a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Who you need as a CNC Machinist :

3+ years of CNC machining experience in a precision environment preferred.

Proficient with lathes and / or mills and control systems.

Skilled at reading complex blueprints and using precision inspection tools

Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or collaboratively

Familiar with AS9100 standards (a plus)

Willing to work flexible shifts or occasional overtime
