Financial Analyst

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and comparative analysis for monthly and quarterly resultsComplete timely month end close activities including the preparation of journal entries, general ledger account analysis, and reconciliationsExecute the bi-weekly payroll process while partnering with the HR departmentSupport Accounting Manager with project accounting and monthly revenue and cost processesAnalyze monthly results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvementExecute and maintain the quarterly forecasting process while partnering with department leadership for accurate and timely updatesLead the annual plan and budget creation processResponsible for maintaining the cash flow forecasts and analysisPartner with leadership to maintain and report on key metrics related to sales, utilization and project bookingsResponsible for Sales and Use Tax filingsPerform ad hoc reporting, analysis and other duties as assigned REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS : Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting or closely related2 - 5 years of business finance, accounting, tax or other relevant experienceHigh proficiency in financial modeling techniques and / or strong Excel skills (formulas / functions)Strong attention to detail and ability to execute tasks accurately Analytical mindset with ability to research and identify solutionsAbility to streamline functions with passion to learn and growDemonstrated knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite; ERP / Accounting Software experience Entrepreneurial mindset with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skillsMust be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environmentAbility to work independently and as part of a team and take on new complex tasksPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS : FMVA or similar designationERP Software experience such as Epicor, SAP or similarExperience in a project and / or manufacturing environment WHAT WE OFFER : Comprehensive Benefits Package (medical, dental, vision options)Paid Time Off (PTO)8 Paid Company Holidays401k & Roth with Company MatchPaid Maternity & Parental Leave BenefitsAdoption AssistanceCompany-Paid Short-Term Disability InsuranceTuition & Professional Development ReimbursementHybrid Work Environment (qualifying positions)
