Job Title : Wiring Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Wiring Technician to join our manufacturing team in building high-quality chillers for data centers. This position is responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical control panels according to schematics, diagrams, and engineering specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assemble control panels by reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and work instructions.
• Perform point-to-point wiring and component installation, including circuit breakers, relays, power supplies, and PLCs.
• Route and secure wiring neatly to ensure proper function and compliance with safety standards.
• Conduct quality checks and functional testing of panels before final installation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve wiring or component issues to ensure proper operation.
• Contribute to risk assessments and health and safety investigations.
• Assist Technical Support with site visits as periodically required.
• Participate in customer end-of-line witness tests and assist with noise tests.
• Engage in quality investigations and structured problem-solving for issues identified by external customer complaints and internal concerns.
• Perform testing requirements, including pressure tests, evacuation and charging, refrigeration performance testing, electrical component testing, and mechanical / electrical installations.
• Build test rigs and assist with test plans.

Work Environment

The role is based in a large plant environment that is non-temperature controlled. The position requires standing and walking for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs (non-repetitive), and stooping.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00 / hr.
