Minimum four years’ experience encompassing the following areas : LAN, WAN and Telecom Experience with capacity planning and performance monitoring techniques and tools Ability to solve complicated problems and deal with a variety of variable situations. Operating System Experience : Windows Server, Windows Desktop 10 and 11, Ubuntu, Debian Experience in the following solutions : Fog (imaging), Proxmox (Virtualization), Intune, Ceeph.io (storage), Ubiquiti Unifi, Jira, Confluence, FlexLM, Magic Draw, Bitbucket, Mac Radius, Sonar, Jenkins, Zabbix (network monitoring), Wazuh, RocketChat, OSticket, Gitlab, Endpoint Protector, Threatmod (cybersecurity monitoring)
Responsibilities
- Oversee all network activity, systems administration, backup, restoration and capacity planning : Ubiquiti 20%
- Provide data and network security 10%
- Build, Maintain and Support Physical and Virtual Servers Environments : Ubuntu Linux and Proxmox. 15%
- Responsible for creating new user accounts for new employees and removing the accounts of ex-employees. Assist non-IT employees with any technical issues and data transfers. 25%
- Develop and implement Server maintenance standard operating procedures 10%
- Support, troubleshoot and image workstations 15%
- Keep upper management informed with regular reports 5%
