The Director of Employee Communications will lead the development and execution of RealPages employee communications strategy, driving alignment, engagement, and clarity across the organization. This highly visible role reports to the SVP, Strategic Execution and Transformation / Chief of Staff to the CEO, and partners closely with the CEO, executive leadership team, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver best-in-class communications that support RealPages transformation, culture, and strategic priorities.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement a strategic internal communications plan and calendar that reinforces RealPages purpose, values, and business goals. Serve as a trusted communications advisor to the CEO and executive team, supporting org announcements, broadcast messages, town halls, employee and customer events, and more. Build and scale a modern internal communications function that humanizes messaging through thoughtful storytelling across multiple channels to drive meaningful employee engagement. Lead and mentor the Employee Communications Business Partner to support global execution of RealPages internal communications strategy. Enable internal stakeholders to consistently communicate RealPages purpose, values, and voice. Cultivate strong cross-functional relationships with marketing, legal, finance, operations, and business leaders to ensure message clarity and continuity. Provide communications leadership and support for strategic initiatives, including M&A integration and incident management.

Qualifications

Bachelors or Masters degree in journalism, public relations, marketing, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of senior-level experience in corporate communications, preferably in high-growth or technology environments.

Required Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Proven ability to lead and scale communications in complex, fast-paced organizations. Visionary thinker, creative project manager, excellent writer, and communicator. Strong attention to detail with the ability to lead and motivate team, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines. Demonstrated success in building and sustaining a culture of communications within large, matrixed organizations. Ability to provide strategic counsel and actionable recommendations to senior executives. Collaborative mindset with a track record of building trust across teams. Experience in technology companies or agencies supporting tech clients is preferred.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must have the ability to operate a personal computer and express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word. May be required to sit and / or stand for long periods of time. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. May be required to lift or move 10+ pounds.

Compensation may vary depending on your location, qualifications including job-related education, training, experience, licensure, and certification, that could result at a level outside of these ranges. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus, and sales incentives depending on the terms of the applicable plan and role as well as individual performance.
