Job Description

We are a well established and respected, innovative, busy specialty office in Fort Collins with a satellite office in Broomfield seeking a part-time (3 days weekly at 8 hours a day with eventual full-time) medical assistant on to join our amazing team!

This position offers excellent experience in clinical healthcare with hands-on learning in tandem with our clinical staff and doctors.

As a Medical Assistant you will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication. The target is to complete job duties accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.

Our ideal candidate will be a motivated team player who possesses the ability to work independently when necessary. Must be reliable and have a high attention to detail. Any background in customer service is a plus.

It is important that the candidate has the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with our patients, staff and physicians.

Candidate will work between our Fort Collins and Broomfield office locations with one to two days per week work in our Broomfield office location. Occasional other travel to our Broomfield location is possible (travel time is paid). Reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities

  • Greeting patients
  • Patient intakes
  • Taking X-Rays
  • Assisting with minor procedures
  • Explaining treatment procedures and cost
  • Setting up medical equipment
  • Clean instruments and equipment after use
  • Answer phones and field questions about medical issues, identifying visit needs
  • Checking patients in and making appointments
  • Qualifications

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Electronic Health Record
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize workload
  • Management experience a plus
