Job Description

Our client   is seeking a dedicated and passionate Detection Canine Handlers to join our elite team. This role is essential to our mission of delivering world-class canine detection services to  their  clients across the country.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with a trained Detection Canine to conduct searches at client sites (corporate buildings, loading docks, vehicles, open areas, etc.)
  • Transport yourself and your canine to / from client locations using your personal vehicle
  • House and care for your assigned canine when off duty
  • Maintain accurate training records and documentation
  • Ensure up-to-date canine health records and monthly preventatives are maintained
  • Liaise with client managers, law enforcement, and other stakeholders
  • Be available for emergency response, demonstrations, and standby duty (including nights, weekends, and holidays)
  • Follow all SOPs and SOWs during operational searches and training

    • Qualifications and Requirements

  • Must have a dependable personal vehicle
  • Must be able to house and care for a working canine
  • Ability to perform tasks accurately with minimal oversight
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
  • Able to pass  pre-employment  screening

    The base pay range for this position is $ 72,800 -  $76,960 , excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
