18.27 - $27.36 Hourly RateTo provide general administrative support to the payroll team.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES :

  • Provide administrative support to the payroll team with related tasks and activities.
  • Provide general support including photocopying, scanning, faxing documents, etc.
  • Order and maintain office supplies, maintain inventory and stock.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail in a timely manner.
  • Assist with assembling and mailing payroll checks for various departments / divisions
  • Complete Unemployment Claim forms
  • Respond to Employment Verification requests in a timely manner.
  • Complete additional payroll duties as signed

MINIMUM SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :

  • High School Diploma and one to two years of business school or equivalent combinations of experience and training
  • 1-2 years administrative, clerical, or related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Able to follow instructions and / or written procedures in a logical / methodical manner
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
  • Able to work well in a team environment and maintain confidential information
  • Proficient in use of general office procedures and office machines
  • Proficient in English verbal communication skills, including professional telephone manner
  • Proficient in written communication skills, including business writing skills
  • Reliability, dependability and flexibility
