Radiology Tech reports to the Imaging Manager / Director and collaborates closely with board-certified radiologists, pediatric orthopedic surgeons, child life specialists, nurses, medical assistants, and scheduling / registration teams. Radiology Tech has no direct reports but partners with PACS / RIS administrators, radiation safety personnel, and quality improvement leaders to streamline workflows and uphold best practices. Radiology Tech also interfaces with anesthesia and procedural teams for fluoroscopic studies as needed.

Radiology Tech will support a high-volume outpatient imaging department performing approximately 1,000–1,200 studies per month across digital X-ray, fluoroscopy, and DEXA, all within a supportive, patient-first culture. Radiology Tech enjoys a calm, kid-focused environment with no ER or trauma and weekday daytime operations that promote consistency and work–life balance. Radiology Tech responsibilities include accurate patient positioning, producing diagnostic-quality images, applying ALARA radiation safety principles, and documenting in RIS / PACS while communicating clearly with patients, parents, and providers. Radiology Tech will collaborate with radiologists to support timely diagnosis and treatment, assist with equipment care, contribute to quality initiatives, and pursue continuous professional development (ARRT required or eligible; new grads welcomed). Radiology Tech may work full-time or part-time on 8-hour day shifts within an 8 : 00 a.m.–6 : 00 p.m. window, typically rotating Tuesday-to-Tuesday, with no weekends and no holidays; DEXA experience is a plus, and training is available.
