Quality Technician

The Quality Technician will assist the Quality Manager in ensuring compliance with customer requirements. This role will ensure that all activities are performed and documented according to our systems and procedures, in alignment with customer and quality standards.

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct quality inspections on aluminum before, during, and after processing.
  • Perform detailed inspections on the first article.
  • Retrieve and document data according to customer requirements.
  • Collect and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Implement quality control measures.
  • Conduct quality audits to assess compliance with company standards and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality concerns.
  • Maintain a clean quality lab and manufacturing area.
  • Assist in training new team members and departments on quality standards.
  • Provide support to the adherence of the Quality Management System.
  • Adapt to a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment.

Essential Skills :

  • Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, and other measurement tools.
  • Experience in quality inspection and quality assurance.
  • Knowledge of quality control and chemistry.
  • Ability to work in a production environment.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications :

  • Ability to learn and develop quickly through personal initiative.
  • Competency in recognizing changes using measurement data and visual inspections.
  • Capability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills, with proficiency in Windows, Word, and Excel preferred.
  • A High School degree or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience in quality methodologies is preferred.
  • Good basic math and communication skills.

    Pay and Benefits :

    The pay range for this position is $50336.00 - $50336.00 / yr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, the benefits available for this temporary role may include the following :
