Are you a seasoned contracts leader ready to make a direct impact at a mission-driven federal contractor? This position leads the full lifecycle of contracts-from proposal strategy through award, execution, compliance, and closeout-within a Department of Defense (DoD) environment.

This is a high-impact, senior-level role for a hands-on contract professional who thrives in a fast-paced setting, brings strategic insight, and is passionate about compliance, risk management, and business growth.

  • This is a Hybrid position requiring 2-3 days in office and about 20% Travel

What You'll Do :

Contract Management & Compliance

  • Analyze and interpret FAR, DFARS, SCLS, NMCARS regulations, and ensure compliance across all projects.
  • Manage contract changes, modifications, REAs, and maintain complete audit-ready files.
  • Collaborate with project teams to fulfill contract obligations, milestones, and CDRLs.
  • Oversee CPARS management and contract closeout activities.
  • Provide full lifecycle administration of federal contracts and subcontracts, including Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), Cost-Reimbursement (e.g., Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF), Cost-Plus-Incentive-Fee (CPIF)), Incentive-type contracts (e.g., Fixed-Price Incentive Fee (FPIF)), Time-and-Materials (T&M), Labor Hour, and commercial staffing contracts.
  • Customer & Partner Engagement

  • Serve as primary point of contact with contracting officers and subcontractors.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate NDAs, teaming agreements, subcontracts, and task orders.
  • Manage subcontractor onboarding and flow-down compliance.
  • Risk Management

  • Identify and assess contractual risks and provide mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate with insurance carriers and support audits and investigations.
  • Proposal & Growth Support

  • Evaluate solicitations and contribute to proposal strategies that align with Global's growth goals.
  • Support pre-award discussions and submission of Sources Sought
  • Represent Global at industry events and engage with SBA, contracting offices, and prime contractors.
  • Leadership & Reporting

  • Produce status reports on contracts, compliance, and strategic activities.

  • What You'll Bring : Required :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Contracts Management, Economics, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in government contracting with strong knowledge of FAR / DFAR and proposal processes.
  • Hands-on experience with DoD solicitations and contract types (FFP, CPFF, T&M).
  • Proficiency in SAM.gov, CPARS, and interaction with DCMA.
  • Availability to travel up to 20% and work onsite at our corporate office.
  • Preferred :

  • Master's degree and / or experience with Navy or MARAD vessel contracts.
  • Familiarity with shipyard operations and creative contracting vehicles.
