Job Title - RF Engineer

Location - Remote

Client - Federal client

Mandatory Skill - Extensive experience in MATLAB who can support the spectrum project.

Job Description : -

  • Performing radio frequency interference (RFI) analyses between US Gov satellite systems and foreign satellite systems operating in the same frequency bands.
  • satellite expert overseeing ITU and FCC regulatory and spectrum management
  • Be familiar with ITU Filing
  • Be familiar with RF Certification
  • Perform Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) analysis and develop RF spectrum sharing models to determine the coordination of wireless commercial and domestic / international registration of satellite networks with  other communication networks.
  • Process coordination requests through the NTIA Space Systems Subcommittee. Analyze proposed space telecommunication systems and determine operational risks to Agency's  operations based on International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Radio Regulations.
  • Through the NASA / DoD / DoC (NDD) and European Space Agency (ESA) coordination process, perform RF coexistence analysis between satellite networks, develop RFI mitigation strategies, and communicate the results.
  • Apply verbal and written communication skills to effectively provide recommendations and conclusion
