The Manager, Project Management works to successfully execute on time and budget the cross functional projects that support company strategic objectives and achieve bottom line results. Must have extensive experience leading cross-functional teams through the project management process using project management methodologies, including problem definition, business requirement and scope definition, business case creation and ROI analysis, project schedule creation and management, and benefits realization and tracking. Must be able to prioritize projects and initiatives to align with company strategy. This role serves as the liaison with IT and must be knowledgeable in ERP systems, preferably Netsuite.

Effectively own and lead all aspects of project management activities to support company objectives and drive results. Collaborate and communicate with individuals across and at all levels of the organization. Deliver projects on time and budget, communicate status and priorities cross functionally, and be a change agent. Possess a solid understanding of the business motivations to implement change; then drive benefits realization and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide leadership in planning, evaluating, and overseeing continuous improvement activities and solution implementations.
  • Identify, prioritize and lead initiatives that support company strategic objectives and achieve bottom line results.
  • Work with appropriate stakeholders to identify and document problem statements and business requirements, create business cases and ROI analyses to support initiatives, and create and manage timelines for prioritization and implementation.
  • Assist with solutioning as required.
  • Be able to identify upstream and downstream effects of proposed changes to business and system processes.
  • Complete business case analysis for projects.
  • Liaison with corporate project management office, including presentations and follow up.
  • In coordination with projects, coordinate priorities with IT for ERP and web changes. Be a partner to our IT partners.
  • Participate in training and implementation activities as required; track benefits realization as required.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
  • Experience :

  • 5-10 years of experience in project management activities involving cross-functional end-to-end project management. Ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams and achieve results using structured project management methodologies.
  • Previous experience in business strategy, especially involving information systems and utilizing tools and techniques to affect business change. Experience overlaying business processes and objectives with system capabilities, defining gaps, and assisting with solutioning required. Full-cycle project implementation experience is preferred.
  • 5-10 years of management experience with demonstrated competency in strategic thinking and leadership, strong abilities in relationship management, experience in managing resources to meet goals across multiple projects, experience in leading multidiscipline, high-performance work teams / groups, and competency in developing efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification a plus.
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma a plus.
  • Skills :

  • Individual who is a conceptual, strategic thinker, who can transform ideas into practical implementation at a detailed level and then lead projects to completion.
  • Experience in project management related to process improvement initiatives required.
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong skills and experience in issue resolution and managing against stringent timelines for project deliverables.
  • Recognized as an expert corporate consultant in multiple disciplines.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and coach others.
  • Experience leading large, cross-functional project teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve desired results.
  • Excels in partnership, communications, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
  • Must act as a change catalyst.
  • Work Environment : Office setting
