Job Responsibilities :
Operate reach truck and order picker forklifts safely and efficiently in a high-density warehouse environment.
Execute high-level order picking tasks, retrieving individual items or cases from multi-level racks using the order picker.
Lead and execute comprehensive inventory control processes, including physical cycle counts, audits, and discrepancy resolution.
Analyze inventory data to identify root causes of errors and implement corrective actions to improve accuracy.
Utilize and troubleshoot advanced inventory management systems (WMS) and handheld scanning devices.
Investigate and reconcile inventory variances in a timely and accurate manner.
Maintain meticulous inventory records and generate detailed reports for management.
Collaborate closely with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth material flow and inventory integrity.
Assist with all aspects of inventory management, from receiving to shipping.
Maintain a high level of organization and cleanliness in all inventory storage and picking areas.
Follow all company safety procedures and regulatory guidelines.
Assist with loading and unloading trucks as required.
Contribute to process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and efficiency.
Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to resolve complex inventory issues.
Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Perform basic maintenance checks on all assigned equipment.
Skills Required :
Valid certification to operate a reach truck and order picker forklifts.
Extensive background and proven experience in inventory control, management, and auditing.
Expertise in using inventory management software (WMS) and handheld scanning devices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a high level of data accuracy.
Strong mathematical skills and the ability to perform complex counts and calculations.
Good physical condition with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work at heights and in a fast-paced and dynamic warehouse environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends if needed.
Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Comprehensive knowledge of warehouse safety practices and procedures.
Ability to read, interpret, and generate detailed inventory reports.
Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
A proactive and results-oriented approach to maintaining inventory integrity.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
