Self-starter, ready to begin immediately!!!Texas-licensed Speech Therapist AssistantHome health experience preferredUnderstanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and private pay requirements (e.g., homebound rule).Must pass Texas DPS background check before onboarding, with annual rechecks, per Texas HHS standards.This position requires a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and a reliable personal automobile for local travel to provide care to clients in the Denton County, Texas area. Mileage is reimbursed for at home visits. We offer pediatric, adult, and geriatric care.

Responsibilities :
The ideal candidate will work with patients to treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.Provide therapy to patients with various communication and swallowing disordersCollaborate with healthcare professionals, educators, and families to implement treatment plansMaintain detailed records of patient progress and treatment outcomesSkills :
Experience in pediatrics, adults and geriatrics or school settingsKnowledge of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)Familiarity with medical terminology related to speech pathologyAbility to work independently in in-home care environmentsProficiency in patient assessment techniquesStrong case management skillsCompassionate patient care approachExperience with standardized testing proceduresQualifications :
Meets the qualifications as established by ASHA or other professional organizationLicensed to practice Speech Therapy in the state of TexasMinimum one year experience in a home healthcare settingOne-year experience in geriatric or pediatric care preferredExperience working in a hospital or clinic setting.Ability to provide patient care in a variety of settings, including home community care.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.A passion for delivering high-quality patient care and a commitment to ongoing professional development.Qualicare - Come Join Us
