Position Overview :

As an Optical Sales Associate at The Eye Place Optometry, you’ll be the friendly face that guides our clients to better vision and style. You’ll assist with selecting and fitting eyewear, educating customers on the latest products, and ensuring a consistently outstanding experience from start to finish.

What You’ll Do :

Create a welcoming, fun, and professional environment for every customer interaction

Consult and follow up with clients to help them select, measure, adjust, and troubleshoot their eyewear

Educate clients on the latest in lens technology, frame brands, and fashion trends

Verify insurance eligibility and maximize coverage benefits for customers

Process customer payments accurately and efficiently

Schedule appointments and manage basic front desk responsibilities

Maintain inventory and ensure the optical space is visually appealing and well-stocked

Present products and promotions with eye-catching visual merchandising

Support your team by sharing knowledge and mentoring new teammates

A friendly, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills

A passion for helping people and a genuine interest in eyewear and fashion

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

Willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced, customer-focused environment

Previous optical or retail sales experience is a plus, but not required – we’ll train the right person!
