Job Title : Front End Software Developer

Job Description

This position is based in Colorado Springs, CO and involves supporting a critical program. It is a mid-level role focused on configuration management, software, and web development. The position includes supporting existing applications, developing user interfaces and tools for internal use, understanding documented requirements, implementing solutions, and performing unit testing.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Tools Development and Management Lead and the IT teams.
  • Support existing applications and develop user interfaces and tools for internal use.
  • Understand documented requirements and implement solutions.
  • Perform unit testing of tools and code.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in JavaScript, specifically with Angular or React frameworks.
  • Experience with JBoss application servers.
  • Experience with RHEL Linux.
  • Experience with Apache and IIS web servers.
  • Security+ certification and active security clearance.

    • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with TypeScript, Docker, Jira.
  • Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment.
  • Experience with Selenium.
  • Familiarity with technologies such as WAVE, iSpace, Spring Boot, Istio / OpenShift / Kubernetes, Nginx, HashiCorp Vault, ArgoCD / FluxCD, Prometheus, Elasticsearch, Terraform / OpenTofu.

    • Work Environment

    The role is 100% onsite in Colorado Springs. The work schedule includes options of working 4 / 10s or 9 / 80's, allowing for every Friday or every other Friday off.

    Job Type & Location

    This is a Contract position based out of Colorado Springs, Colorado.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $75.00 / hr.
