Role Overview :

Assists licensed electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. Responsible for various tasks, including preparing materials, tools, and equipment, as well as performing basic electrical work under supervision.

Key Responsibilities :

Help install electrical wiring, outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures
Set-up and dismantle temporary power systems as required for construction projects
Assist in the maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment
Replace electrical components such as fuses, circuit breakers, and light bulbs
Maintain and organize electrical tools and materials
Prepare and carry tools, supplies, and equipment to work sites
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Assist in testing systems for functionality and safety compliance
Set-up and clean-up work areas

Required Skills and Experience :

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience in construction or electrical work preferred.

Capabilities :

Collaborating effectively with electricians and other construction team members.

Clear and concise reporting of progress and problems.

Showing up on time and following through with assigned tasks.

Working Conditions :

Work is performed both indoors and outdoors, often exposed to the natural elements of cold, heat, moisture, and wind.

Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding.

Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conducts.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
