The Centennial Group, a comprehensive employee benefits firm based in Lansing, MI, is looking for individuals to develop into the role of Employee Benefits Specialist —a consultative sales position focused on building client relationships and delivering value through tailored benefit solutions.

This is a sales-driven role where your success is rewarded through performance-based compensation.

What You’ll Do

  • Prospect and build relationships with business owners and HR teams
  • Present and sell employee benefits solutions tailored to each organization
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them attract and retain top talent
  • Manage the sales process from initial contact through ongoing account support

    Compensation : 40,000 - $85,000

    Responsibilities :

  • Analyze employee benefits data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements
  • Develop and conduct benefits orientations and training for new employees to ensure understanding and utilization of the benefits packages
  • Assist employers with benefits-related inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner to maintain employer / employee satisfaction
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to recommend adjustments to benefit programs for optimal employee retention and attraction
  • Qualifications :

  • 2+ years of sales or benefit administration experience
  • Knowledge of HR regulations and compliance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and MS Office Suite Competencies
  • US Work Authorization
