In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related mechanical systems for a fleet of vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of diesel engine repair experience and mechanical expertise, with additional experience in equipment repair and proficiency with hand tools preferred. Work Schedules Available : All positions are full -time and require working on holidays and rotational weekends.
- 5am - 1pm - Mon - Fri
- 1pm - 9pm- Mon - Fri

Key Responsibilities :
Perform routine and emergency maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, vehicles, and equipment.Diagnose mechanical issues with engines and machinery, troubleshoot problems, and provide effective repair solutions.Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to complete repairs and adjustments to engines, transmissions, and other mechanical components.Conduct inspections to identify potential mechanical problems and recommend preventive maintenance schedules.Maintain and organize accurate records of repairs, parts used, and service history for each unit.Collaborate with other mechanics and the maintenance team to ensure smooth operations of the fleet.Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety and quality standards.Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.Full-Time / Part-Time Full-Time Location Farmland Fresh Dairies Newark Position Refrigeration Mechanic - Transportation Position Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience in diesel truck engine repair.At least 2 years of general mechanical, electrical, refrigeration knowledge and experience.Strong proficiency with hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and mechanical systems.Ability to troubleshoot and repair diesel engines and associated mechanical components.High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.Experience with hand tools.Preferred :CDL CertificationPrevious experience working with a fleet of vehicles (Mack and Volvo Trucks a Plus!)Welding experienceTrailer Refrigeration maintenance and troubleshooting.Shift Rotating
