Mechanical Engineering Technician

RFA Engineering ( ) is an engineering service provider dedicated to delivering our clients with timely engineering support and expertise. We are seeking an experienced candidate to become an integral part of our engineering selected candidate will work with an experienced engineering staff using state-of-the-art engineering tools & position will operate onsite at our customers world-class engineering and manufacturing facility.

Mechanical Engineering Technician

The Mechanical Engineering Technician will serve as a key liaison between multiple engineering teams supporting product development and sustaining engineering efforts. This role will primarily focus on processing Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) maintaining CAD models and managing Bills of Material (BOMs). The technician will ensure accuracy consistency and timely execution of engineering documentation to support overall project efficiency and product quality.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) to ensure accurate implementation and documentation.
• Maintain and update CAD models and drawings to align with engineering and design standards.
• Develop and manage Bills of Material (BOMs) to support manufacturing procurement and engineering teams.
• Serve as a communication link between engineering teams to coordinate changes resolve discrepancies and ensure alignment.
• Assist engineers in documenting and organizing design data for product development and sustaining activities.
• Support compliance with company standards processes and engineering best practices.
• Provide technical support for engineering teams in the areas of CAD and product data management.
