Director Of Human Resources
The Director of Human Resources is a strategic leader responsible for shaping and executing the organization's human capital strategy. This role oversees all aspects of HR operations, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, compensation and benefits, compliance, and organizational development. The Director partners with senior leadership to align HR initiatives with business objectives, foster a high-performance culture, and ensure a positive and inclusive workplace environment.
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute HR strategies that support the organizations mission, vision, and long-term goals.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, and change management.
Talent Management & Development
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to attract and retain top talent.Lead performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and development planning.Champion learning and development initiatives to build leadership capabilities and career growth opportunities.Employee Engagement & Culture
Foster a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Design and implement employee engagement strategies, including surveys, recognition programs, and internal communications.Compensation, Benefits & HR Operations
Manage compensation structures, benefits programs, and total rewards strategies to ensure competitiveness and equity.Oversee HR systems, data integrity, and reporting to support data-driven decision-making.Develop and manage budgets for HR, office space, employee benefits, and purchased services.Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.Lead investigations and resolve complex employee relations issues with fairness and confidentiality.Other Duties
Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related function is required.Minimum of 7 years of experience in an HR Generalist position.Deep knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and organizational development.Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systemsStrong interpersonal, communication and conflict resolution skills.Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple priorities and drive results in a dynamic environment.SHRM-CP / SCP or PHR / SPHR certification preferred
