Senior Network Engineer

Job Summary

  • We are looking for a senior network engineer who can design, implement, and maintain complex network solutions using Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco Viptela SD-WAN products.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in network engineering, with a strong focus on security and performance optimization.
  • You will be responsible for troubleshooting network issues, providing technical support, and ensuring compliance with security policies and standards.
  • You will also be involved in network architecture, planning, and documentation.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and deploy network solutions using Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco Viptela SD-WAN products.
  • Monitor and manage network performance, availability, and security.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, including routing, switching, firewall, VPN, and WAN optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and standards, such as PCI, HIPAA, and ISO.
  • Update and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and inventory.
  • Research and evaluate new network technologies and best practices.
  • Collaborate with other security engineers and IT teams on network projects and initiatives.

    • Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 10 years of experience in network engineering, with a strong focus on security and performance optimization.
  • Expert knowledge of Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco Viptela SD-WAN products, including configuration, management, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficient in routing and switching protocols, such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, and VRF.
  • Experience with network security technologies, such as IPS, IDS, VPN, DLP, and NAC.
  • Experience with network monitoring and management tools, such as SolarWinds, Splunk, and Cisco DNA Center.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, PCNSE, or VCP-NV are preferred.
