Salary : 18.00 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our facilities, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a safe and efficient environment. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge, leadership abilities, and experience in facilities maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on buildings and equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Conduct inspections of facilities to identify issues that require attention.
  • Oversee and manage maintenance projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.
  • Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Execute residential painting tasks to maintain aesthetic standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing tenant or client concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Supervise maintenance staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules without disrupting operations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.
  • Proficiency in English for effective communication with team members and clients.
  • Experience in supervising teams or projects is preferred.
  • Familiarity with electrical systems and the use of tools such as an ohmmeter.
  • Skills in residential painting techniques are advantageous.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
