Accounting Manager
The Accounting Manager works under the guidance of the Controller in preparing and reporting financial statements conforming to principles of accounting and regulatory requirements. Additionally, the role manages Cost Accounting, General Accounting, sales tax, corporate tax and supports budget and forecast.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Maintains integrity of accounting records and reports in accordance with GAAP.Accurately prepares financial statements monthly including preparation of a flux analysis to explain variancesOrganize external audits, delivering Prepared by Client list in a timely mannerProvide data to support the year end tax provisionPerform month-end close activities including journal entries, inventory reconciliations, variance analysis and account reconciliations ensuring they are completed timely and accuratelyPrepare monthly manufacturing operations reporting package for managementPerform variance analysis between actual and standard costs and update standard rates as neededSupport quarterly reviews and annual auditsProvide cost modeling and financial analysis to the manufacturing operations teamManage cycle count program, ensuring audit compliance and variance reconciliationManage full cycle fixed asset accountingManage all accruals, reclasses, and other entries necessary to closeReview and prepare account reconciliations with appropriate supportEnsure tax liabilities are appropriate recordedEnsure that payroll is appropriately posted to the General LedgerEnsure sales tax filings are done in a timely mannerParticipate in the annual budget process and periodic forecast updatesPrepare other managerial reports as requestedTroubleshoot Made to Manage as needed (M2M)Process improvements to streamline the close processAssist in special projects and prepare ad hoc analysis as necessaryParticipate in the 401k auditEducation, Experience, Skills, & Abilities :
