As a Logistics Analytics Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by :
- Providing analysis and data to support business-critical logistics and supply chain problem solving, driving improvement to service, reducing cost, and increasing inventory turns
- Clearly articulate business problems and translate into technical requirements
- Collaborate with business and process owners to design integrated data models and analytics that deliver actionable insights.
- Federate disparate data sources into common data model aligning to business processes.
- Design scalable, cloud-based data management solutions including acquisition, processing, storage, and consumption of data for analytics applications.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists to build classification, optimization, and regression models.
- Ensure data quality, security and compliance across the data landscape
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)Three (3) years of combined experience in logistics, supply chain and / or data management in a private, public, government or military environmentAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include :
Experience analyzing logistics and supply chain data to solve complex problemsExperience improving supply chain and logistics processes to drive performanceProven ability to curate and integrate datasets from disparate systems within a manufacturing and supply chain environment.Strong SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries and optimize query performance.Experience programming in Python or RFamiliarity with data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau or other toolsStrong attention to detail and data quality, being able to validate and maintain data accuracy.Experience designing cloud-based advanced analytics on big data.Experience with SAP HANA, Teradata, and Snowflake data warehouses.Solid communication skills, ability to interact with all levels within an organization.Work as a member of an agile development organization.Must be self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and continuously improve.Work location : On Site : Maplewood, MN
