As the regional operations leader, you will own the P&L, inspire multidisciplinary teams, and drive operational excellence that fuels double-digit revenue expansion. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day studio operations-utilization, backlog, schedules, and budgets-ensuring projects meet quality, safety, and profitability targets.
  • Build annual operating plans and real-time dashboards; deliver weekly KPI insights to senior executives.
  • Recruit, coach, and retain a high-performing civil engineering, surveying, and landscape architecture workforce; champion career-development pathways.
  • Standardize best-practice workflows and continuous-improvement programs that raise technical excellence across every discipline.
  • Partner with business-development and marketing teams on pursuits, proposals, and key-account strategy to expand the regional client base.
  • Foster a collaborative, people-first environment that encourages cross-office knowledge sharing and celebrates wins.
  • Serve as executive sponsor for at least one firm-wide strategic initiative, translating vision into actionable programs and measurable outcomes.
  • Provide senior technical and project-management support on complex civil-site design engagements when needed to keep schedules and budgets on track.

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s in civil engineering (or related) plus active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • 10+ years within civil-infrastructure consulting, including 5+ years leading multidisciplinary teams or office operations.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding P&L targets and driving growth.
  • Expertise in resource planning, project controls, and contract administration.
  • Influential communicator able to build lasting client relationships and navigate conflict with ease.
  • Comfortable balancing strategic initiatives with tactical execution in a fast-growth environment.
