Location : Norcross, GA (with occasional travel to job sites as needed)

Reports to : Service Manager

Employment Status : Full-Time, Salaried (Exempt)

With a team-oriented culture and a drive for excellence, we are seeking a Service Coordinator to join our team and help ensure efficient operations across service projects.

Position Summary

The Service Coordinator plays a key role in supporting and managing electrical service operations. This role ensures efficient scheduling, material procurement, client communication, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards, while supporting overall team productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee electrical service projects from initiation to completion.
  • Schedule and dispatch electricians and technicians for service calls.
  • Communicate with clients to assess service needs, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to source and manage electrical materials and equipment.
  • Track project costs, invoices, and ensure adherence to budgets.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving service-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of completed work, inspections, and preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Provide support for scheduling preventive maintenance programs.
  • Ensure compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) and local regulations.
  • Represent 5 Points Electrical professionally in all interactions with clients, vendors, and team members.
  • Monitor and enforce safety protocols on job sites.
  • Identify opportunities to improve service operations, workflows, and productivity.
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in electrical service coordination.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in service coordination, project coordination, or scheduling (preferably in construction or electrical industries).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and project management software.
  • Knowledge of NEC and local regulations (preferred).
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or business education is a plus.
