The Mail Order / OTC Pharmacy Distribution Clerk 1 resolves problems related to drug interactions, dependencies, and department processes. This role analyzes distribution and supports pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. This role assists pharmacists in medication preparation and dispensing directly or through program / process development. This role may contact physicians for prescriptions clarification and may enter prescription orders into pharmacy system. This role complies with all Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), federal, state, and company regulations, policies, and procedures.

Schedule : Monday through Friday, 2 : 30PM to 11 : 00PM CST with rotating weekends

Location : This is an onsite role. 2525 Horizon Lake Drive Memphis, TN 38133

The Pharmacy Distribution Clerk 1 supports prescription order processing by :

  • Ensuring medications, paperwork and supplies are packed appropriately according to standard operating procedure, including those that require special handling.
  • Ensuring patient packages are labeled appropriately for shipping by the assigned carrier.
  • Performing other administrative or support tasks in the packing department as assigned by pharmacy management.

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to stand in one location for up to 8 to 10 hours
  • 1+ years of Pharmacy, Manufacturing, or Warehouse Experience
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experience
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Scheduled Weekly Hours 40

    Pay Range $38,000 - $45,800 per year
