What You Will Do :
Manage equipment, material, and subcontractor estimatesHandle purchasing and release of non-commodity itemsOversee submittal, operations, maintenance, and closeout processesNegotiate and price all change ordersDevelop initial project schedulesSubmit RFIs and review responses for scope impactProvide project information to Construction Manager, job Superintendent, Fabrication Division, and Start-up SupervisorCollaborate with the Virtual Construction Department for detailing informationWhat We Are Looking For :
Hands-on project management experience in commercial construction projectsExperience managing projects lasting a year or moreBachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical), Building Construction, or Construction Engineering ManagementStrong analysis, problem-solving, and critical thinking skillsProficiency with technology, including Microsoft Excel and project management softwareKnowledge of business and management principles in strategic planning, accounting, cost forecasting, and resource coordinationAbility to deal diplomatically with internal and external customers (owners, GCs, subcontractors, engineers, superintendents, draftsmen)Knowledge of construction equipment and techniques, drawings, specifications, building materials, engineering standards, and codesEOE M / F / Disability / Vets
