Job Description
A leading cybersecurity arm of a major energy company is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to strengthen and secure its multi-cloud infrastructure. This group plays a critical role in protecting sensitive systems in a fast-moving, regulated environment, making it an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives at the intersection of technical depth and security strategy.
In this role, you’ll focus on cloud security across Azure and AWS, with responsibility for securing containerized workloads (Docker and Kubernetes), driving automation in CI / CD pipelines, and ensuring compliance with industry frameworks. You’ll evaluate risk exposure, conduct vulnerability assessments, and partner with cross-functional teams to design secure, scalable solutions.
Full-time hybrid in Government Center 3 days a week.
Required Skills & Experience :
5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud security, DevSecOps, or infrastructure security
Expertise with Azure and AWS in hybrid / multi-cloud environments
Proven track record securing containerized workloads (Docker / Kubernetes), including vulnerability scanning and remediation
Experience with automation and IaC tools such as Azure DevOps, Terraform, or GitHub Actions
Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure attack surfaces, vulnerabilities, and threat modeling
Familiarity with compliance frameworks (PCI-DSS, SOX, NERC CIP, etc.) and aligning controls to audits
Excellent collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams
Desired Skills :
Prior experience in the energy or critical infrastructure sector
Exposure to SaaS or enterprise-scale security environments
Relevant certifications : CISSP, CCSK, CCA, or cloud provider security certifications
Hands-on familiarity with security platforms such as Wiz, Prisma, or similar

Tech Breakdown
40% Cloud & container security implementation
30% Risk analysis, threat mapping, and compliance planning
20% Collaboration with security, engineering, and architecture teams
10% Documentation, reporting, and process improvements
Daily Responsibilities :
Conduct vulnerability assessments and harden cloud / containers against threats
Lead discussions with internal stakeholders to identify gaps and track mitigations
Build and optimize automated security controls in pipelines
Translate technical risks into actionable security and compliance initiatives
