POSITION SUMMARY :

Provides direct security and related public services. Event Security.

Responsibilities

You will conduct the following responsibilities upholding Tarian’s commitment to safety and security while supporting the values and culture of the client and community.

Our Security Officers are responsible for maintaining the security and safety of the facility, its staff, and visitors and serve as a visible deterrent to illegal activities on property.

Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Requirements / qualifications :

Education and Experience :

Completed High School Diploma or GED Years + Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable licenses or certificationsStrong vision abilities including color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focusMust be able to stand and / or walk for an entire work shift, move or lift objects up to lbs., help restrain or lift a personValid driver’s license and ability to meet Tarian company's driving guidelines if applicable (for Driving Roles)

Desired Qualification of the Security Officer :

Previous work experience with the public in a service setting

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work hours will vary depending on assignments, client schedules, project deadlines, and the needs of the company. Workweeks may exceed hours and may involve any of the 7 days of the week, depending on the needs of the business. The work environment may be fast-paced and stressful or may also be quiet and slow-paced. All environments and pace of work will require alertness and ability to perform under pressure.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to sit, stand, and walk for variable amounts of time throughout an assigned shift; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move objects pounds or more. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Frequently engages in mental concentration, analysis, and formulation.
