Systems Administrator - Infrastructure

Location : New Orleans, LA Clearance : Top Secret

Salary : $125k-$175k

My client is seeking a skilled Systems Administrator for Infrastructure to support a government customer in New Orleans, LA. This role is pivotal in maintaining and enhancing the infrastructure that keeps operations running smoothly. You will be joining a dynamic team that values innovation and excellence in service delivery. Key Responsibilities :

  • Serve as a Systems Engineer for infrastructure supporting a government customer.
  • Create, maintain, test, and modify Windows Group Policy Objects.
  • Work on backend systems with Dell Hardware, including PowerEdge, PowerScale, and PowerSwitch.
  • Provide Tier 3 and Tier 4 troubleshooting skills.
  • Build (image) and deploy new workstations.
  • Configure and deploy new printers and digital senders.

What We're Looking For :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in systems administration.
  • Proficient with Dell Hardware (PowerEdge, PowerScale, PowerSwitch).
  • Experience with Windows Group Policy Objects and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and virtualization technologies like VMWare and Hyper-V.
