Essential Job Functions
1. Oversee AP / AR workflows, ensuring accurate, timely invoice processing and full financial compliance.
2. Lead, mentor, and manage staff responsible for invoice receipt, payment cycles, and revenue tracking.
3. Collaborate cross-functionally with PMs to support project budgets and prepare for financial audits.
4. Maintain and refine documentation systems for change orders, RFIs, and job setup coordination.
5. Monitor accounts receivable, drive DSO improvements, and enforce sound reconciliation practices.
6. Implement process enhancements to streamline invoicing, cost coding, and data verification.
7. Ensure accurate and timely execution of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes.
8. Serves as a responsible leader, through the direction and guidance of the team, to ensure all safety requirements for all jobs are upheld for the protection of co-workers, subcontractors, the public, and the client by supporting all Company safety efforts.
9. Performs other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience, and Skills
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred).
2. Construction industry experience required; large commercial project experience strongly preferred.
3. Solid understanding of job cost accounting, WIP reporting, and percentage-of-completion accounting.
4. 5+ years of experience in financial operations, including AP / AR leadership and project cost control.
5. Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (CMiC preferred), Smartsheet, Microsoft Software Suite, and Power BI.
6. Proven ability to lead teams in high-volume, deadline-driven environments.
7. Skilled in preparing Cost Detail, Unit Detail, and AR reports with actionable insights.
8. Demonstrated success in process optimization and risk mitigation across billing functions.
9. Excellent communication and organizational skills across all levels.
10. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
11. Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills.
12. Demonstrates firm conflict resolution and negotiating skills.
13. Strong organizational skills.
14. Must be able to multi-task, have strong attention to detail, and have excellent time management skills to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.

17. Must possess or obtain an appropriate state driver’s license before employment, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
Cirks Construction Inc. (CCI), dba KDC Construction, offers a competitive salary range of $106,000.00 to $135,000.00 per year – while considering the candidate’s experience and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees :
