A company is looking for a Regulatory Compliance Counsel (FERC) to join their Legal and Compliance team. Key Responsibilities Provide in-depth legal advice and analysis on FERC rules, utility regulations, and other relevant requirements Draft, review, and refine compliance policies, procedures, and guidance documents Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed compliance considerations into business processes and initiatives Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar Minimum of 5 years of legal experience in energy, regulatory, utility compliance, or related fields Direct experience working with FERC, utility regulation, and / or ISO / RTO market rules strongly preferred Demonstrated ability to interpret complex regulatory frameworks and articulate them in clear, actionable terms Track record of working strategically and collaboratively in fast-moving, entrepreneurial environments
