Description
The Account Executive (AE) exists to assure Wholesale accounts are successful in reaching their business objectives to fully represent the Lilly Pulitzer brand while driving Lilly Pulitzer sales.
The AE will be responsible for developing annual and seasonal bookings budgets and managing the associated sales, inventory and receipt levels for each of their Wholesale accounts. This also includes providing direction and supporting the implementation of a comprehensive solution focused on achieving standards for visual merchandise presentation, customer relationships, marketing opportunities and profitable inventory management. The AE will be responsible for both the sell in and sell through of the sun & sport product lines to their account portfolio.
The AE will also be responsible for supporting in development ofstrategy for growth for their Account portfolio and executing that strategy on an annual basis. The AE must strive to achieve excellence and results, be committed to building cross-department relationships, take pride in professionalismand strive to be proactive in evolving to achieve ambitious goals. The AE must lay out a business plan that supports the Wholesale channel and Brand growth strategy – and execute on that plan.

A day in the life…
Account Portfolio Planning, Management, Strategy, and achievement of Seasonal / Annual Sales Projections :
Develop Annual / Seasonal Booking Budgets. The AE must manage, track, and analyze bookings using Wholesale tools and systems. The AE must feel strong in reporting (Looker) and sharing analysis regarding their Account Portfolio. They must demonstrate a understanding of their business and own the long-term vision for their business channel. The AE must identify and communicate what they need to achieve growth.
Go to Market 4x annually to drive initial bookings. The AE must work with the Wholesale team to help plan and host accounts either virtually or in person and ensure accounts receive all information needed. The AE must ensure orders are received by the company deadline and are consistent with the corporate sales plans, assortment recommendations and product / marketing initiatives that optimize financial health and sell-throughs. In season the AE must chase in season reorder / incremental sales.
The AE must have strong relationships with their Accounts. They must manage portfolio through strong communication, gathering product information and selling information. It is the AE’s responsibility to monitor and communicate to their manager account growth and challenges.
The AE must have strong working knowledge of their marketplace. They are expected to visit accounts / events, provide recaps, assess competition, and have a strong knowledge of their markets
Brand Presentation and Marketing Opportunities :
The AE will support each account in presenting the Brand’s product in an appropriate environment. This will include travel to key accounts to ensure that they are provided with appropriate support. The AE will need to work closely with the company’s in-store merchandising staff to understand seasonal messages and opportunities.
Communicating and promoting company endorsed events is important! The AE must execute successful events with each account. The Account Executive will be the point person for coordinating all marketing programs to assure clear and consistent communication and successful execution.
The AE will ideate and create new marketing opportunities that drive additional business within their account portfolio. They must build internal cross-development relationships and bring in marketing and content support as needed. The AE is expected to request content needed in a timely manner.
Drive New Business :
Account Executive will be responsible for driving new business by using modern prospecting techniques. As a leader on the Wholesale team, the AE must be curious and creative about testing new sales techniques, outreach, exploring new Markets / Trade Shows and driving innovation. The AE must identify and develop the specific sales tools they need to drive new business.
Support Account Portfolio Operations :
The AE will need to manage and execute operational tasks to support their portfolio. This includes and is not limited to Joor linesheet creation, orderstatus@ support, returns, swaps, partnering with Oxford Credit, and order management through ABS. The role equally will need to provide information for Shipping Projections. It is the AE’s responsibility to understand how their portfolio contributes to the Wholesale Channel.

Qualifications for the Position
A four-year college degree is required, preferably with a major / minor within business or a similar discipline.
2-6+ years of selling and / or buying experience, preferably in the fashion or retail industry.

A Little More to Know…
This position is classified as full-time salaried; it is exempt and is not eligible for overtime. This position is eligible for standard company benefits.
This position is required to maintain a structured hybrid work schedule based out of King of Prussia, Pennsylvania (a suburb of Philadelphia) or Palm Beach, Florida. This hybrid schedule, which includes work done in the King of Prussia Home Office or Palm Beach Showroom as well as your Home Office, will be determined by your supervisor.
The position requires domestic travel.
Given the seasonality of the business, this position may require flexible, additional working hours during peak periods.
