Linehaul Truck Driver

Join Our Growing Family at DHE Transportation! We're expanding our network and looking for CDL Class A Truck drivers to join our Linehaul team here in Los Angeles. Linehaul drivers transport DOUBLES between service centers while primarily conducting meet and turns with drivers from other locations. This is a night shift position that is 100% no-touch. While some trips may require a layover, most shifts begin and end at the home terminal. Job Responsibilities + Transport freight in safe and prompt manner + Interact with our clients and customers in a professional and courteous manner with limited supervision + Comply with Department of Transportation regulations and laws + Maintain responsibility for safety and security of company equipment and customer goods + Load and unload trailers and move freight across the terminal dock, either individually or with the assistance of a co-worker, with or without mechanical freight handling equipment, as required. + Record quantity and type of shipments using bills of lading, delivery receipts, and tally sheets. + Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations. + Hook and unhook trailers from tractors, including cranking levers to raise and lower landing gear. + Fuel trucks and tractors. + Perform all other work-related duties as assigned.
