• US Coast Guard Yard, Baltimore, Maryland Employment Type :  Full-Time / 100% On-Site Clearance :  Ability to pass a basic background check About the Role Nationwide IT Services (NIS) is seeking a highly skilled  Technical Lead  for a potential opportunity to support IT initiatives at the  US Coast Guard Yard in Baltimore, Maryland .
• The Technical Lead will be responsible for architecting solutions, leading technical execution, and ensuring the successful delivery of mission-critical IT systems.
• This role requires both strong hands-on technical expertise and the ability to present solutions and strategies to Federal leadership.
• Key Responsibilities Architect  Microsoft Power Platform  solutions to meet client requirements.
• Present technical designs and solution strategies to leadership and stakeholders.
• Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software and specialized utility programs.
• Analyze user needs and develop tailored software solutions.
• Design and customize software for client use with a focus on optimizing operational efficiency.
• Analyze and design databases within an application area, lead or coordinate database development activities.
• Supervise and guide technical execution, ensuring high-quality delivery across all development efforts.
• Required Qualifications 12+ years of experience  in IT solution development and leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field.
• Proven experience  designing solutions for the Federal Government .
• Hands-on expertise with  Microsoft Power Platform .
• Preferred Skills & Characteristics Strong background in software and database architecture.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, particularly with senior Federal stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor technical teams.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
