HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT

The ideal candidate will design and draft components, assemblies, and subsystems that meet the highest quality standards. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles and the ability to create detailed engineering drawings and layouts for mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies. The junior Mechanical Engineer will optimize design factors, including functionality, manufacturability, material availability, cost, and serviceability while ensuring compliance with customer specifications.

Achievement of objectives must include an overriding commitment to quality that must permeate the areas of responsibility. Enable and Drive Change in the Organization.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

• Apply engineering fundamentals and experience to perform routine and moderately complex engineering tasks.
• Follows standard engineering practices and procedures.
• Perform assignments given by more senior-level engineers.
• Follow the instructions given for the required tasks and expected results.
• It requires good organization and communication skills and working well with others.
• It requires routine exercise of judgment when making decisions among various technical options.
• Coordinate the design development of work orders, Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), and quotes with other departments while participating in Material Review Board (MRB) processes and Advance Deviation Requests (ADRs).
• Work independently on moderately complex designs with minimal supervision, exercising sound judgement in technical decision-making.
