We’re hiring a Project Manager, Recruiting Operations for our Corporate HQ in Columbia, MO. This role offers the flexibility to work on-site in Columbia, MO , or remotely from other locations across the United States.
Salary range $87,000-$118,000 annually . Factors including past experience and location may affect final compensation rate.

The Senior Project Manager will lead automation, process improvement, and program delivery efforts that support the broader Talent Acquisition (TA) organization. In this role, you’ll be part of the Recruiting Operations team, working behind the scenes to optimize how we attract, assess, and hire top talent. You’ll build scalable, tech-enabled processes that improve both candidate experience and recruiting efficiency. You’ll partner closely with recruiters, coordinators, HR, and People Analytics to streamline workflows, implement automation, and reduce manual work across the hiring lifecycle. Primary Responsibilities
Project Management & Execution
- Drive program deliverables and author / share monthly business reviews, weekly reports on recruiting funnel stage metrics, and applicant tracking system (ATS) insights, and others that support the needs of the business.
- Lead recruiting process redesign and continuous improvement efforts to enhance candidate and employee experience, reducing waste and streamlining workflows. This includes defining project scope, timelines, and resource requirements – then taking charge to drive outcomes with effective change management.
- Manages dependencies between multiple projects within a program.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
Work with teams to develop project charters and roadmaps, earning trust and forging solutions with business owners, technology teams, and other HR partners.Collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders by communicating clearly, actively listening, and aligning on shared goals.Contributes to business development and negotiates with internal clients.Communication & Reporting
Handles executive-level communication and stakeholder management.Own selected TA team communications, such as Monthly Business Reviews, Recruiting status reports, and other deliverables that share key performance indicators (KPIs).Operational Excellence & Problem Solving
Maintain an operational mindset to ensure daily workflows stay on track in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.Apply structured problem-solving techniques, drawing on Lean and project management principles to design efficient, scalable recruiting processes.Take ownership in removing workflow bottlenecks, prioritizing competing initiatives with sound judgment, and mentoring team members where applicable.Continuously measure and analyze recruiting operations to identify areas for improvement, using a customer-obsessed mindset to develop scalable, data-informed solutions.Navigate and resolve complex or ambiguous recruiting processes, proactively addressing issues and driving resolution in coordination with the broader TA and HR teams.Provides high-level strategic oversight and guidance to scale operational results.Why EquipmentShare?

Experience as a Recruiting Business Partner and / or Recruiter who has sourced candidatesProject Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent credentialCertification or formal training in Lean Design Methods or Systems EngineeringExperience developing program or project documentation, including charters, roadmaps, and status reportsExperience partnering with executive leadership to shape initiatives and drive decision-makingExperience creating detailed process maps, including swimlane diagrams and value stream maps (preferably using LucidChart or similar tools)Familiarity with building automated workflows to streamline operations (Alteryx or similar platforms preferred)Strong interest in technology, with a demonstrated curiosity to explore technical products and a commitment to continuous learningEducation and Experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Recruitment or Talent Acquisition, with a strong understanding of the hiring lifecycle and industry best practicesAt least 2 years of program or project management experience in a fast-paced, cross-functional environmentHands-on experience using Greenhouse ATS to manage and track recruiting processesProficiency with project management tools to coordinate workflows and timelines ( preferred)Physical Requirements
