The Graphic Designer is a hands-on creative role responsible for developing and executing high-quality design across print, digital, and web channels. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Creative Strategies & Marketing, this role works closely with brand managers, marketing, and contractors to bring campaigns and collateral to life. From ads and brochures to digital content, this designer ensures consistency, creativity, and efficiency in every project while contributing to the overall growth of the company’s brands.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily :

  • Design and produce creative assets for print and digital marketing campaigns, including ads, brochures, sales collateral, packaging, presentations, and social media.
  • Develop on-brand layouts and graphics that align with project objectives and established brand guidelines; contribute to evolving brand standards as needed.
  • Collaborate with brand managers, marketers, and contractors to translate ideas and strategies into creative deliverables.
  • Manage multiple projects, deadlines, and revisions while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Balance conceptual design with hands-on production work; from campaign ideation to prepping and resizing production-ready files.
  • Maintain and organize digital assets, templates, and brand files for efficient use; balancing both creative design and hands-on production tasks (from concepting to resizing)
  • Stay current on design trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve creative output.

Technical Skills / Tools : Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop); video / web skills a plus (Premiere, After Effects, AEM, etc.

Nice-to-Haves : Photography, experience with collaborative design platforms such as Figma for web or software design, interest in exploring and adopting emerging creative tools (e.g., AI-driven design platforms, interactive media, motion graphics) to bring fresh approaches to projects.

Soft Skills :

  • Strong communicator who can take direction and feedback constructively.
  • Team player who enjoys collaboration but can also work independently.
  • Flexible and resourceful; comfortable balancing big-picture creative with day-to-day production.

    Supervisory Responsibilities

    This position does not have direct supervisory responsibility, although indirect management of external vendors such as printers is often required.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and / or abilities required for this position.

    Education and / or Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field; or equivalent combination of formal coursework and 3–6 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Computer Skills :

  • Proficiency in general word processing and email software, in addition to more specialized mastery of graphics and web design tools. A working knowledge of Internet creation software is also desirable.
  • Other Skills

  • A strong eye for detail, typography, and layout. A helpful, positive attitude and a passion for creative design are important. Excellent listening and communication, problem solving, planning and organizational skills are also necessary.
