Position Title :  Network Engineer

Location : North Chesterfield, VA 23235

Position Status :  12-Month Contract (Potential Extensions)

Schedule :  100% Onsite

Position Summary :

Network Engineer  to design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable network infrastructure supporting on-premises, hybrid, and cloud-based systems. This role is vital for ensuring secure data flows between environments and maintaining operational readiness for mission-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and support network infrastructure across data centers, QTS, OCI, and AWS
• environments.
• Configure routers, firewalls, VPNs, and VLANs for secure system connectivity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues impacting application performance and uptime.
• Collaborate with cloud and DevSecOps teams to optimize hybrid connectivity and SD-
• WAN configurations.
• Monitor network health, capacity, and compliance using enterprise tools.
• Document network topology, IP schemes, firewall rules, and access controls.
• Required Skills & Experience : 6+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
• Expertise with routing, switching, firewalls, DNS, and network segmentation.
• Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS / OCI VCNs, subnets, routing tables).
• Understanding of zero trust network design principles.

Strong troubleshooting and incident response skills.
