Job Description Job Description We are seeking an experienced Collections Paralegal to support our HOA Attorneys and become a part of our growing team! Responsibilities include : Create new matters / contacts in Clio Generate accurate ledgers of amounts owed by debtors Emails / telephone calls with debtors and Community Managers Order reports from title Draft demands and general correspondence Draft pleadings for use in Superior, Bankruptcy, Probate and / or Justice Courts Prepare Liens and Lien Releases Process payments received from debtors, sheriffs' sales, title, etc. Request payment of expenses from accounting and post to debtor accounts Update Attorney calendars Qualifications : Previous experience as a Collections Paralegal Familiarity with HOA Law preferred Experience using Clio or similar practice-management software FDCPA Certification preferred but not required (firm can provide) Ability to prioritize and multitask Excellent written and verbal communication skills Deadline and detail-oriented Ability to follow firm procedures Our paralegals are well-compensated with a generous base salary plus monthly bonus. Flexible schedule - 4x10s M-Th. Potential for hybrid (work-from-home & office) schedule after successful completion of training and probationary period.
