Security Guard

Hiring an energetic Security Officer with excellent customer service skills to join our team. The ideal candidate is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of residents, visitors, and the premises. This role requires constant vigilance and physical activity, as the officer is frequently on their feet, patrolling the property, monitoring for suspicious activity, and responding to incidents. Reliability is key, as they must be punctual and dependable to maintain a secure environment. Patience is also crucial, as they interact with residents, handle concerns or complaints, and manage situations calmly and professionally. Passion for security drives their commitment to safeguarding the property and upholding security protocols at all times.

Schedule :

  • Monday through Friday 4 p.m. to 12 a.m.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Monitor and patrol assigned areas and surrounding premises.
  • Prevent unauthorized access to the property.
  • Communicate effectively with the security team via cell phone and WhatsApp.
  • Investigate disturbances, and report suspicious activities.
  • Report all security incidents, violations, and unusual activities.
  • Provide excellent customer service to visitors and employees.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures.

    • Qualifications :

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Valid Florida Class D Security License.
  • Proven experience as a Security Officer.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to remain vigilant in all situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physically capable of standing, patrolling, and working in various environmental conditions (i.e. heat, rain, etc.) for extended periods.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
