Title of Position Physics and Engineering Tutor - Student Employee Department University Access Programs Hours per Week Max of 20 Job  Qualifications 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher {preferably higher in nursing courses}

Sophomore or higher by hours

Physics, Engineering, or similar major preferred

Good communication and Interpersonal skills are necessary

Ability to work effectively with staff and students. Position Description / Job Duties Tutor will work under supervision of Tutor Coordinator and :

Work with students in a group tutoring setting

Must accurately document all tutoring sessions according to tutoring standards

Maintain communication with staff and students

Attend training sessions

Complete observations and evaluations

Reach CRLA Level 1 certification within the first semester of employment Preferred Availability Hours are flexible and will vary weekly

Weekday and Weekend options available

Limited to 20 hours per week
